Mission Statement
Our mission is to lay the groundwork for our children to grow into self-controlled, self-assured, compassionate, and successful adults.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to establish a nurturing and learning environment in which children, families, and educators work together to inspire lifelong learners capable of making a positive difference in society as they grow and develop.
At Let’s Play School Family Childcare LLC and Let’s Play School Early Learning and Development Center, we understand that the early years of a child’s life are crucial for their overall growth and development. We believe that every child is a unique individual and has his or her way of learning. Our programs strive to provide your child with the best possible education and guidance. We achieve this through our use of up-to-date resources, state-of-the-art equipment, and effective teaching methods.
Our classroom utilizes approved curriculums from the Ohio Department of Education to ensure that children leave our facilities kindergarten ready. Our curriculum is designed to foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. We incorporate a variety of activities and experiences that are engaging and age-appropriate, such as reading, math, science, art, music, and physical education. To support children’s learning, we provide access to a wide range of resources, including age-appropriate technology, toys, books, and other educational materials. Our highly qualified and caring teachers are dedicated to guiding each child during their developmental years and helping them reach their full potential. We believe that every child is unique, and we tailor our teaching approach to meet the individual needs of each child.
We understand the importance of monitoring your child’s progress, which is why we keep detailed records and use them to guide their development. Not only do we utilize approved learning assessments for all our children, but we also conduct classroom and teacher assessments to ensure that we are prepared to meet the early learning needs of every child we serve. In addition, we work closely with families to support children’s learning and development. We provide regular progress reports and offer parent-teacher conferences to discuss children’s individual needs and progress. At Let’s Play School, we value open communication and strong partnerships with families. We believe that parent involvement is crucial to a child’s success, and we encourage parents to participate in their child’s learning journey.
Kindergarten Readiness
At our childcare center, we take pride in preparing children for their next educational milestone. We have set a high standard that all children who have completed a minimum of 2 years in our services will be Kindergarten Ready.
We understand that the transition to Kindergarten can be a significant milestone for both children and families. That’s why we have developed a comprehensive program that focuses on building the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure that children are prepared for the challenges of Kindergarten.
We are committed to ensuring that all children who graduate from our childcare center are prepared for the academic and social challenges of Kindergarten. Our goal is to provide a strong foundation for children’s future success and lifelong learning.
Reading
At our childcare center, we understand the fundamental role that literacy plays in a child’s development. As such, we have made phonics, phonological awareness, and reading a primary focus of our curriculum. We believe that by emphasizing these skills from a young age, we can help our children to become confident and skilled readers who are well-prepared for academic success.
Our dedicated teachers use a range of research-based strategies to teach phonics and phonological awareness skills. We introduce children to letter sounds and word families, helping them to understand the connections between letters and sounds. We also incorporate reading activities into our daily routine, such as shared reading, guided reading, and independent reading, to foster a love of books and develop reading comprehension skills.
Our approach to phonics, phonological awareness, and reading is individualized, meaning that we tailor our instruction to meet the needs of each child. We use ongoing assessments to track progress and adjust our teaching strategies as necessary, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to succeed.
By prioritizing phonics, phonological awareness, and reading, we are providing our children with a strong foundation for future academic success and a lifelong love of learning.
At our preschool center, we believe that learning to read is one of the most important skills a child can develop. That’s why phonics, phonological awareness, and reading are at the forefront of our curriculum. Through interactive and engaging activities, we teach children how to recognize letters, sounds, and words and how to use this knowledge to read and comprehend text. We strive to create a strong foundation in literacy that will set our students up for success in all areas of their academic and personal lives.
